Part of the vision God gave Pastor Ford for the Second Missionary Baptist Church Touch of Grace Deliverance Center ministry is the “TOUCH OF GRACE” broadcast. In 1982 the Touch of Grace program first aired on KCNW radio for 15 minutes on Sunday and Wednesday mornings. As God graced TGMPJC, the TGM broadcast went from 15 to 30 minutes, from 2 to 3 days each week, and now 7 days a week!

From KCNW, TGM progressed to KCXL, KPRT, and on to KGGN.
Touch of Grace is currently heard:

• 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Monday - Friday KPRT 1590 AM

• 6:30 – 7:00 a.m. Sundays KPRT 1590 AM

• 7:00 – 7:30 a.m. Sundays KMJK 107.3 FM

In addition, you can find Touch of Grace on Time Warner Cable leased access channel 4 Saturday nights 10:30-11:00 p.m. CST.

In October 1993, Sister Pat Atwater joined the Touch of Grace broadcast team. The two-person team allowed for different thoughts, questions, views, studies and listener participation. As the Touch of Grace broadcast grew, it became the number one (#1) gospel morning show in the city and surrounding area. By endeavoring to “Reach the World for Christ” through radio, many listeners have had the opportunity to examine their relationship with Christ in the quiet of their homes.

When Pastor Dr. Ford and Sister Atwater had a chance to examine their relationship, questions sometimes arose. This development allowed the Touch of Grace broadcast to create studies relative to the interest of the listener. Under Pastor Ford’s leadership, TGM developed studies on Building Stronger Families, Marriage and Singleness (just to name a few). As the audience grew, workshops and conferences were held at SMBC to help answer concerns and questions.

TGM Broadcast received many letters from listeners telling how their family relationships improved by using some of the techniques they had learned from listening to the show. In particular, one of our listeners wrote to share how she gave her husband another chance with their marriage. Some of our listeners send donations toward our broadcast expenses citing that they feel TGM Broadcast deserve it because of the help we provide.

Best of all, Touch of Grace encourages folks to come to Christ and many have joined the Second Missionary Baptist Church family as well.

GOD is touching each and every one of us with His Grace and all we have to do is Taste and See.
